Dear fellow treasure hunter,
I've always been drawn to things with a past.
Not just because they're beautiful — but because they carry something with them. A story. A life. A feeling you can't quite replicate.
I grew up in a home filled with antiques from Italy and Spain — pieces that weren't just decorative, but lived with us. They had presence, history, and meaning. Even as a child, I felt that.
Some of my earliest memories are weekend mornings with my mom — waking up early, circling garage sales, mapping out where we'd go before the day even began. There was something magical about it. The hunt. The possibility. The idea that you might find something unexpected — something with a story waiting to be discovered.
That feeling never left me.
Over time, my love for vintage deepened into a passion for European art, Florentine pieces, antique photographs, and ephemera. I began collecting not just for beauty, but for connection — especially old postcards and photographs, always wondering who they belonged to and where they came from.
Whenever I can, I try to research their origins, hoping to reunite them with the families they once belonged to.
I also design and create assemblage brooches using vintage jewelry — giving new life to pieces that already hold history, and turning them into something entirely new while preserving their past.
Live selling became a natural extension of all of this. Not just for the thrill of it, but for the connection — the conversations, the shared excitement, and the moment someone finds a piece that feels like it was meant for them.
And of course, I'm rarely alone. My two rescue toy poodles are part of everything I do — you'll often find them by my side during my shows. 🐩🐩
The Bambazaar was born from all of this.
A place where discovery feels alive.
Where pieces don't sit — they move.
Where sellers are passionate, not transactional.
And where every item has a story worth telling.
This isn't just a marketplace. It's a space for people who see value in things that are rare, personal, and full of life.
