✅ This Vintage 1950'S Italian San Marino Sgraffito Lady Floral Art Pottery Trinket Dish. This dish was made by Titano during the 1950's aimed at the tourist market. Titano was active from 1952-81. This beautiful piece features a wonderful sgraffito lady and has flashes of colour with enamel painted flowers and other details. A wonderful, affordable mid century modern piece, perfect for a collector of Titano, San Marino or Italian pottery enthusiast. This measures approximately 5 inches by 4 inches and is 1 1/2 inches high. This stunning piece of artwork is a piece of mid-century Italian art pottery, specifically identified as a San Marino "Fat Lava" wall plaque. Created during the 1950s or 1960s, these pieces are often attributed to Ceramiche Melior or the brand Professor Melior, located near Florence. Key Characteristics Technique: It features sgraffito, a method where a top layer of glaze is scratched away to reveal the contrasting black body underneath, defining the girl's face and hair. Style: The vibrant red background and textured elements are characteristic of the "Fat Lava" style popular in mid-century European ceramics.
